Total Lunar Eclipse

Limhamn 21 December 2010.

I have watched total solar eclipses in the Antarctica and in the Arctic, but I have never

experienced fighting my way through so much snow as during this lunar eclipse expedition.

The most valiant of the Tycho Brahe Eclipse Group went through kneedeep snow to the

Limhamn Marina, where we met with Tobias from the local Scanian radio station P4. He

came on skis to work.

Several others of our eclipse group watched this eclipse in different places, such as from a

snowed in bus, from a window in a hospital, while digging out a car and other situations,

striving to get to the Limhamn Marina. But some didn't even try, they relaxed at home and

watched it.

Hans Kronkvist just went up to the terraced roof on top of his luxury apartment by the

Ribersborg Beach in southwestern central Malmö.

Kjell Westman stepped out on the balcony in his apartment in Lindeborg, southern suburban Malmö.
