Total Lunar eclipse

15 June 2011.

The Tycho Brahe Observatory is under construction right now, since we need more room.

Therefore we had to find another place for our observations.

Finally we ended on a hill with a piece of art in the neighbourhood of the Öresund Bridge.

Several people gathered there, among others three young women from the customs office below.

In the midst of wonderful smell of flowers and song from nightingales, we observed the lunar eclipse.

The night was warm, unfortunately bright, which made the total phase nearly impossible to see.

Below are some of Tora Greve's pictures, beginning with sundown in Bunkeflo.

Below are some of Göran Iveberg's photos. The one of Göran and instrument was taken by

Tora with a small camera, and happened to be the only one of the totally eclipsed moon.

Even Kjell Westman took photos of the eclipsed moon.

Hans Kronkvist took some pictures from the luxury balcony of his flat in central Malmö.
